Hello, again!
Did you know that Elder Scott painted the image on the front cover and the one of his wife and baby on the back cover? I had forgotten that he is an excellent artist. I had the wonderful opportunity to meet with him a couple of years ago in his office and I can testify that this man truly is an Apostle of God. I am excited to be reading such a terrific book.

That's way awesome! he is very talented. don't ya just feel warm and fuzzy when you're near an apostle of God! I had met many of the apostles and even Pres. Hinckley face to face when working at the Lion House, and I'll never forget what I felt around them!! definitely a faith/testimony builder! :)
My husband's brother had cancer as a teenager and before he died Elder Scott came to speak at a conference in Houston and Reed's family was invited to the hotel room and Elder Scott gave him a blessing. He doesn't talk much about it but just like Raven and Iharper's experiences, it stuck with him!
That's so cool that you worked at the Lion House, Laura! I think if I worked there I would probably make myself sick binging on the delicious rolls!
oh you can believe that i made myself sick many a time on their rolls and also desserts! lol it was pretty hard to go on a diet while working there! :)
